Owner FAQs
How do owner withdrawals work?
Your earnings accumulate in your owner dashboard. When you’re ready, you can submit a withdrawal request, which we process as quickly as possible based on request volume and business days.
How long do withdrawals take?
Processing times depend on the selected method. Direct deposits may be processed within a few hours for some banks (e.g. Desjardins) or up to about 36 hours for others. Interac e-Transfers may take several days depending on demand and business days.
Can I track my earnings per booking?
Yes. Each booking shows a clear breakdown in your dashboard, including earnings, deposit, adjustments, and status. You remain in full control before requesting a withdrawal.
How are renters verified?
We use an advanced and thorough identity verification process to increase trust on the platform. You can also review the renter’s profile and ratings before accepting a booking.
Do I control availability, hours, and pricing?
Yes. You set your available days, hours, and prices. We may suggest a pricing range based on your boat’s type, year, and value, but the final decision is always yours.
Can I automatically accept some bookings?
Yes. You can enable automatic acceptance for renters with a verified status. First-time renters can be set to require manual approval, based on your preferences.
Can I chat with renters before accepting?
Yes. You can message renters directly, ask questions, and review their ratings before confirming a booking.
What happens with last-minute cancellations?
For last-minute cancellations, you may be compensated through the renter’s deposit, except when the cancellation is due to safety reasons such as unsafe weather conditions.
Do you help rebook my boat after a cancellation?
Yes. For last-minute cancellations (excluding weather-related cases), your boat may be added to a private last-minute deals list sent by email and SMS to opted-in renters. This helps reduce losses and increases rebooking chances.
Can I offer my boat with or without a skipper?
Yes. You can offer your boat with a skipper, without a skipper, or both. You fully define the terms.
Do you provide performance statistics?
Yes. Your dashboard can display statistics such as average rating, number of bookings, and performance data like click-through and conversion rates.
Can I export bookings for tax purposes?
Yes. You can export a file (for example, Excel) containing your booking and earnings history to help with year-end reporting.
